CES 2023 – Peak A Beak With Bird Buddy!

We’ve been alerted to Bird Buddy for quite some time thanks to their series of ads throughout the internet. Bird Buddie’s device itself, though, is very interesting. For the most part it’s simple but does the job of bird watching, without having to be outdoors.

You can install the device simply with a wall mount, hanging on a tree, or even placing it on a post. The device can hold treats in a series of ways for birds and draws them in, which places their faces in the point of view of a centralized camera that not only takes a snap of the bird, but also helps identify it for you.

For the other bird lovers in your life, you can share your bird feed, pun intended, to your loved ones and friends. However, if you’re feeling incredibly generous with the bird watching public as a whole, Bird Buddy will let you share your bird notifications with their global feed.

The feed will show you live pop-ups of birds as they’re detected throughout your country, from people who also decided to share their feeds with the community.

They are also planning on releasing a couple new versions of the device in the future. This will include a ground feeder, for birds that will only feed low to the ground, and a hummingbird feeder, for our fast fluttering friends.

When we talk to the people from Bird Buddy, we even raise the biggest bird watcher debate, the inclusion of squirrels into the world of bird feeders. While they don’t want to take a side on the debate, they do have a buffer coming that will go on your post and help keep the squirrels away from your feed.

While they are currently still delivering to backers, you can pre-order your own Bird Buddy Here!
