What To Do For Halloween In Texas In 2024!

When it comes to our coverage of Texas, we usually cast a wide net. There is so much to do in this state. It can be a bit hard to know what specifically to check out, what is worth the drive, and the purchase price.

That’s the reason we wanted to bring back our Texas Halloween Event list.

See what’s worth your time this Halloween season!

Scream Hollow
Scream Hollow is a pretty amazing place that runs multiple events through the year, not just in October. The Halloween themed event starts on September 13th, and continues through November 8th.

Ticket options are:

Admission Ticket (includes the park, no mazes). $8

One Maze Ticket (includes the park, and 1 maze). Starting at $25

General Ticket (includes the park, and the 5 mazes). Starting at $32

Horror Mazes:

Mansion of Terror Coven an orphanage founded by Adella. While the town thought her a safe, the truth was much darker.

Lost Pines Asylum filled with bodies of experiments, but not everything is dead.

Encounter Aliens are among us, and they are coming for you in this sci-fi maze.

Sinister Circus The time of the clown is now, as they are getting revenge for years of torture!

Hell on Wheels A haunted hayride through Wendigo territory. This is the first time for this attraction at the event.

Additional Experiences:
They’ve built up a little town in the center of the haunted houses. Included is live bands, the Frank-N-Stein Pub, the Rabid Bat Vampire Bar, the Cackling Witch Café and Bakery, and Madame Tinker’s Magic Emporium, a themed gift shop, with a themed shopkeeper. They even have a horror museum, but entrance requires a paid ticket.

House of Torment
House of Torment returns! All for an affordable price, and plenty of options that allow you to skip the lines. You can get scared silly at the House of Torment but dates are not announced just yet! The event will run on select dates through September starting the 13th and continuing with more and more dates added through the week until November 9th, 2024.

Fast Pass and Skip the Line add-ons are available for $11 and $23

Horror Mazes:
While their mazes aren’t announced yet, here are some of the options they had in prior years!

Torment ’99 Set in 1999, an amulet brings some of the most iconic monsters to town.

The Arrival The team of agents have gone missing inside the base, and what you find is a combination of them and an alien insectoid hive-like hybrid.

The Abandoned Pandoras box was opened at an estate sale, and with it came it’s keeper.

They have a couple things available for people who attend. Options include interactive Mini Escape Games, a Torment Tavern, and ax throwing!
