Hate To Love: Nickleback – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 43%

A documentary focused on the story of Nickelback which talks about their beginning, their explosive success, and the online negativity that almost destroyed them. See them journey through 2000’s and how public opinions and hazing had a personal impact. With the success of their new tour, the return after a 5-year break, and the wave of online love it helps overcome the dark past of online fame.

A lot of people loved to hate this band that did nothing specifically wrong, except becoming famous so quickly that it generated its own backlash wave. See how it formed, how it affected the group, and how they overcame.

A Cat’s Life – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Clémence, played by Capucine Sainson-Fabresse, rescues a kitten and finds a strong bond with the animal. However, when they head from the city to the countryside, the two get separated in the wild and through their journey to find each other, they both grow independently and explore adventures that test their strengths.

This film looks beautiful and amazing, with footage of animals in the wild, escaping danger. I worry however that the animals might have been in actual danger. Information about that could really ruin a film like this. Hopefully they were compliant with safety procedures.

Dogman – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 60%

After a tramatic childhood, Douglas, played by Caleb Landry Jones, turns to his love and connection to dogs to find a way in this world. Through that connection he seeks not only a new way of life, but also justice in a world he has dificulty manuevering through.

Luc Besson’s latest film is a suspense thriller, with elements of drama, and uses a myriad of colors to convey a unique story. If you like his other films, including The Professional, then you might want to check this one out.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (Unknown At This Time)

The worlds of Godzilla and King Kong gets larger and more vast as the movie explores the histories and origins of these giant behemoths. In the process they will have to work together to prevent a new danger that threatens us, and them.

Legendary Pictures will keep playing this battle out. If you are a fan of Kaiju and Kong films, then this is a great watch for you, but others might be starting to feel some exhaustion as these movies continue.

In The Land Of Saints and Sinners – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 57%

Attempting to put his past behind him, Finbar, played by Liam Neeson, moved far from the violence of the country and into a costal town. However, when the war comes to this isolated village, Finbar is forced to risk his past at the benefit of saving his family.

This movie is set in the 1970s and amongst the turmoil of the Ireland political and religious wars that rocked that country. Neeson does a great job at action and thrillers. The secret badass trope seems to have been perfected by this man.
