Movies and Videos On Demand For The Week Of April 25, 2025

Mob Cops – Releasing in Limited Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When a returned detective, played by David Arquette, writes a book about his life, his family, and the connection with the Mob begins a war in the streets of New York as dirty cops and crime lords go head to head against decent officers.

If you like a good thriller and cop drama, then this one hits it like paint by the number. Also, I love seeing David Arquette getting work. While this isn’t specifically something new, It doesn’t make it worth nothing.

On Swift Horses – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 65%

When Muriel and Lee, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones and Will Poulter, try to start a new life, after the Korean War, they find their new life upended by Lee’s brother. However, Julius, played by Jacob Elordi, runs off eventually, it’s not before he empassions Lee’s wife and forces her into looking for more adventure.

Romance and life is hard, we normalize being swept off our feet, and forming relationships, and starting families early. What we don’t talk about is how we aren’t usually fully formed humans when we do that. Interests change, and who we were five years before are so different.

The Accountant 2 – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 79%

When Marybeth, played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson, sees her boss at the treasury killed, she seeks Christian Wolff, played by Ben Affleck, to find out who killed them, why, and bring them to justice. Now he has to turn to his brother, played by Jon Bernthal, for help to solve the puzzle.

If you want to continue the story from the first movie, you definitely can return to this world. However, it is testing very well and getting good reviews.

The Legend of Ochi – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 77%

When a young girl, played by Helena Zengel, stumbles upon a baby ochi, it forces her to question the lessons her life and community has taught her about the species. Now she strikes out to bring it back home.

Are we just remaking the Ice Age? I kid, but this looks like a cute and fantasy journey that children and families can watch and enjoy this week.

Until Dawn – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

After her sister disappears, Clover, played by Ella Rubin, heads with her friends in search for why she disappeared. However, when they begin to be stalked by a killer that sees them murdered over and over again, they have to find a way out of the situation before their deaths are final.

If you were a huge fan of the game, then you definitely are going to have to watch this movie when it comes out. It looks like an interesting journey, and I believe they are taking different tacts so it’s not one for one the same as the game.
