A team of ruthless mercenaries, led by Dolph Lundgren, take control of a hotel, unbeknownst to them though, the wedding taking place at it has former Special Ops attending. What started off as just attending their best friend turns into a fight to save hostages.

If you are looking for an action film, then this one will fill the need, however it’s likely not going to be the highest of qualities, but it definitely stars an amazing actor like Lundgren to give it some clout.

Chevalier – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 95%

The composer, and violinist, known as the Black Mozart, played by Kelvin Harrison Jr., was a French-Caribbean musician who happened to also be the child of an African slave. Outside of his pedigree, he pulled himself out of the lower levels of the world due to his musical prodigy. In the film, we see his falling out with Marie Antoinette, played by Lucy Boynton, and his drop from the top of French high society.

Kelvin Harrison Jr gives an amazing performance in this film that covers drama, romance, high society action, and even a bit of intrigue.

Evil Dead Rise – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

Beth, played by Lily Sullivan, decides to visit her sister Ellie, played by Alyssa Sutherland, and her family in their Los Angeles apartment. However, when the family discovers a book of evil that unleashes demons inside the city, they will have to battle for survival.

I’ve waited for a while to return to the world of Evil Dead, and while I wanted to, it likely wasn’t like this. That being said, I am still happy to see how it goes, but I am sure it will be more horror than hilarious, so keep that in mind.

The Covenant – Releasing in Theaters

When Sergeant John Kinley, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, learns that the Afghan interpreter, played by Dar Salim, is not getting safe passage to America like promised, he risks his own life to repay his debt and keep his friend safe from the Taliban.

This is a Guy Ritchie film, and as such a lot of people are excited, but the story is heartbreaking because it’s a fact of history, as the US Government abandoned hundreds of interpreters to the fate of Taliban murders due to their aid during the occupation. I only hope the film has a happy ending, because history wasn’t.

While the film’s plot has not been revealed, it can be inferred that it is a heist movie that takes a turn when the bank manager attempts to get his money back.

This movie was scheduled to release in 2020, but due to the pandemic, they postponed the movie until now. If you are willing to take a chance on a foreign film, this Pakistani comedy film might be worth your time.
