This year is the 90th anniversary of the Queen Mary’s first and maiden voyage in May of 1936. There are so many options and events going on at the legendary vessel, it’s important to remember that they are about to enter one of their most busiest times of year.
Through August 28, 2026, on Tuesdays, the Observation Bar will host a Meet Me at the Mary event, which will feature live music and drink specials. On Wednesday they will hold karaoke, and Thursday will feature Jazz & Blues Night. Every Friday the boat will have Margaritas on the Mary, which will also feature tacos, live entertainment, and panoramic waterfront views.
During full moons, specifically on August 27, 2026, guests can enjoy full moon cocktails in the Observation Bar, yoga and crystal cleansing under the full moon, lunar rituals that include immersive experiences with the Coven of the Full Moon, featuring Stormie Gayle.
They also currently have an interactive murder mystery dining experience titled “Murder on the High Seas,” on select nights, and are bringing a country music event called “Boots on the Boat” which will feature country music, dancing, and themed entertainment on August 15, 2026.
Prior to Dark Harbor coming next month, passengers and visitors can take guided, or self-guided tours of the ship and it’s many exhibitions of the history of the ship. On the boat, they are still able to treat guests to overnight stays in their historic staterooms, as well as provide excellent food and drinks at the Chelsea Chowder House & Bar, the Observation Bar, the Promenade Cafe, and treats at the Jubilee and Midship Marketplace.
