What To Do For Halloween In New York In 2023!

New York is quite the town. While there is always a bar or a party abound no matter the holiday, when it comes to specifically Halloween themed attractions, some stand out above the crowd.

There are a couple experiences that pride themselves on being the best for the area, and we are back to give you a breakdown on what to expect, how much they cost, and when they are running!

C. Casola Haunted Farms

C. Casola Haunted Farms has an amazing and large property, with plenty of room to get lost… and scared. The event will run on weekends from September 23, 2022 through October 31, 2022.
Ticket options are:

  • Individual Ticket (3D Haunted Barn or The Living Maze). $15
  • Haunted Hayride of Terror Ticket (only the hayride). $15
  • Combo Package (hayride and the two mazes). $40
  • Ultimate Package (hayride, the two mazes, and Paintball). $65
  • Horror Mazes:

  • Haunted Hayride of Terror into the back woods of New Jersey.
  • 3D Haunted Barn the scariest haunted barn on the east coast.
  • The Living Maze the living maze is alive and will get you!
  • What does C. Casola Haunted Farms offer, that other venues do not?

One of their more popular attractions is the Marlboro Zombie Breakout, which is “Zombie Paintball”. They arm you with a paintball gun mounted onto the side of a truck. As you move through the encounter, fire upon the undead.

Tickets for the event are only sold at the site, and only for cash. Find out more though Here!

    Blood Manor

One of the more popular horror events in the New York area, this event starts on September 29th and runs through November 4th.

    Ticket options are:

  • General Admission E-Ticket. $40 + $5.51 FEE
  • RIP E-Tickets. $65 + $6.29 FEE
  • Horror Mazes:
One experience, one house. Well worth the viewing though.

What does Blood Manor offer, that other venues do not?

This is a very famous and fan-favorite maze/haunted house as we previously stated. We’ve attended it ourselves prior. One of the most interesting options they have is their Dark Nights. This year, venture in on November 3rd, and November 4th. Each party is given 1 glow stick, and the lights are turned very low. Can you survive the dark?

Tickets for the event are available Here! You can also see more about the location Here!

    Rolling Hills Asylum

This is an outlier for the group. This isn’t a horror maze, so much as it’s a ghost tour company. However, since it’s that time of the year, I thought it might be a good idea to talk a little about them too. This place is already currently running, and pretty much always throughout the year.

    Ticket options are:

  • Self Guided Tour. $29
  • Guided Tour & Self Ghost Hunt. $39
  • Horror Movie, Nachos, & Ghost Hunt. $69
  • 3 Hr Psych Hold Tour & Ghost Hunt. $49
  • 6 Hr Captive Tour & Ghost Hunt. $70
  • What does Rolling Hills Asylum offer, that other venues do not?

In the past we’ve talked about how people believe the space to be haunted. Year-round they run their haunted tours, and even have some shows with psychics. If you want to connect with the spirits for the holiday, then this is a great way to do so.

Tickets for the events are available online Here! Act quickly though as they will likely sell out quick. Find out more about the event Here!

So which event are you going to hit this spooky season?
