Strategicon’s Orccon 2021 Is Continuing Virtually

As with Gateway, unfortunately Orccon’s in-person convention can not be held. However, board gamers are not one to give up on fun. Orccon is still going to happen, but virtually over Presidents Day weekend, February 12th, 2021 through February 15th, 2021.

Tickets for this event, costing the same as the last event, is $5, as a way to support the convention. They continue to struggle through the pandemic, but they are keeping alive the hope of a return to normal conventions.

Additional features of this convention are:

The Indie New Games department will connect attendees to the creator of games that aren’t even on the shelves.

The miniatures department will have a virtual painting contest.

A Power Grid world tour, including a teaching session on Friday.

Party Games’ Game Show Throwdown is raising money for Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network all weekend.

Adventurers Leagues is running several different Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition modules.
