New York Comic Con 2026 has come and gone, but during the experience there were a lot of activations and events going on that you would want to attend. One such activation was from Prime Video and a celebration of their new series, Blade Runner 2099.
The experience took over the Meatpacking Collective building and New York Comic Con was only 1.4 miles away for the Javits Center.
People lined up for this activation for quite a bit, and reservations were available beforehand but sold out quickly.
The story of the activation was a Los Angeles Police Department that had been taken over by Replicants. Your job was to infiltrate the police station pretend to be a Replicant, and discover what had happened while gathering evidence at the location.
While they had props and vehicles from the series on display to interact with, there were a series of interactive experiences within the activation that allowed you to play off of actors in the space and pretend that you were also a Replicant.
If you completed the experience, you were given a cocktail or mocktail and a Blade Runner 2099 pin of the iconic vehicle that was also on display in the activation.
We can’t wait to see what Prime Video brings for this show when it’s released.
