Crunchyroll Pulls Out The Stops For Comic-Con 2022!

Crunchyroll is no foreigner to anime. They bring series and experiences to fans in over 200 countries and territories through their streaming services and games. Not content with their own convention, Crunchyroll Expo, the streamer has set their sights on Comic-Con! Not only coming to the convention this year with panels, Crunchyroll has bigger plans for San Diego!

Crunchyroll will bring back Tim Lyu and Lauren Moore to talk about what’s coming out from Crunchyroll in an Industry Panel on Thursday.

However more impressively, Crunchyroll and Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will take over Hall H on Friday and bring with them Toshio Furukawa, the voice actor for Piccolo, and a first-look at Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, specifically a first look at the first 20 minutes of the movie! Then Crunchyroll is bringing a booth to the convention for the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, in the form of a replica of Piccolo’s house from the movie.

The streamer will take the party to the evening with a two-night (Friday and Saturday) Crunchyroll Concert Series at the iconic Rady Shell at Jacobs Park behind the convention center! The party will include DJ Jun Inagawa and 88rising’s powerhouse J-Pop group ATARASHII GAKKO!

For fans around the convention center, Crunchyroll has wrapped San Diego Metropolitan Transit System busses with a Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero commemorative design, and other wraps for My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, SPY x FAMILY, and more.

Make sure to watch Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in theaters on August 19!
