Before we start, we want to make clear, nothing is happening to the much beloved and enjoyed stage show Waterworld at Universal Studios Hollywood. That might be a big concern for people with the Animal Show and Special Effects shows being permanently removed to make way for a Fast and the Furious ride.
What is happening though, is a limited-run pre-show to the existing Waterworld show is coming to the theme park. The show will run from April 27, 2024 through May 19, 2024 in celebration of the theatrical release of The Fall Guy, which hits theatres on May 3, 2024.
The pre-show is a project between Universal Pictures and 87North, and will feature an original storyline designed to show behind the scenes looks at how stunts are designed and performed, and who better to showcase stunt performances then the longest running and most impressive stunt show, Waterworld.
