Celebrate Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary At Universal CityWalk Hollywood

This year is Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary and to commemorate the event Universal Studios is bringing Hello Kitty within the theme park! You can meet Hello Kitty donning a new soft pastel pink dress as she poses with guests and fans at the Universal Studios Animation Studio Store!

Additionally, earlier this year in September Universal Citywalk Hollywood opened the Hello Kitty and Friends Cafe, and to celebrate the anniversay, the cafe is adding an assortment of 50th-themed items to grab-and-go menu! Items include:

A 50th Cookie Sandwich.

A 50th Anniversary Cake.

A Sparkling 50th Drink (strawberry soda with coconut cream foam).

The Mocha Bow Bomb Latte.

The Hot Chocolate Bow Bomb.

Additionally, all new 50th-anniversary merchandise will be available at the Sanrio Smile Shop including t-shirts, plush, ceramic mugs, tumblers, notepads, stationery kits, lanyards, cell phone bags, and backpacks.

This new line up of food and merch will be available starting on Friday, November 1, through December 31, 2024.
