We love Halloween, and have been a connoisseur of events for some time. One of our favorite expereiences though is and always will be Queen Mary. When the boat closed due to the major issues and safety concerns within the vessel, I was heartbroken, and when the boat was being considered to be skuttled, I worried that the ship had claimed one more spirit, the boat itself.
Those fears however were calmed when the boat finally re-opened. First to filming, then to visitors and hotel guests, and lastly tours and weddings. Now so much of the boat is available for experiences, tours, and haunted experiences. We even checked out 57 Ghosts and The Grey Ghost Project as we waited with baited breath if our favorite part of the Queen Mary would also return.
I know there was a want and desire for the Dark Harbor event to return from the original creators, staff, and fans, but the space was engaged with the family-friendly Shaqtoberfest. However, thanks to the partnership with Thirtheenth Floor Entertainment Group, the creator of such amazing events like The Los Angeles Haunted Hayride and Delusions, all fears can be put to rest, as this new experience on the boat is called The Spirits Rise
The experience and event will open on Friday, September 20th and run through Saturday, November 2nd 2024 on select nights. Make sure to purchase tickets as soon as possible in late summer of 2024 because they will run out!
